Before you even think of embracing social media for your business, you need to first think of this – how much time can you devote to your social media marketing?
Social media marketing is not as simple as creating different social media accounts… designing them.. then leaving them behind afterwards.
Like a garden, if you don’t attend to it, pamper it and water it, it’ll get overgrown with weeds and you’ll end up with just a couple of large bushes.
No one wants large bushes and weeds.
Social media marketing may consume tremendous amount of time if poor planning is involve. This is why I urge you to identify your availability and social media goals.
If you only have a very little amount of time, try to offer your audience with answers to their FAQs at first.
Create a content schedule. Use some social media management tools like Hootsuite or SocialOomph. Schedule your messages on different social media platforms in advance. Look into a few more things that you can do like hiring a social media virtual assistant.
You don’t have to do it all by yourself you know!
The point here is to have some time off your day dedicated to listening and reaching out to your audience.
Okay! I guess, it’s your turn now. I’d love to know, how much time you’re devoting on your social media marketing. Any thoughts and tips are pretty much appreciated.
