Starting this year, I’m joining Chris Brogan’s tradition of creating THREE WORDS that sum up all that I would like to focus on for the coming year. Instead of resolutions, which I always end up not doing, I’ll try to work on using these 3 words and use them as my guide for my actions and efforts. Here’s my three words for 2012:
PLAN… CLEAR… TEST…
PLAN – I have never had a plan written before. So, this time, I’m starting my year with written goals, targets and plans. I’m going to get my business in order and make sure that all my targets and goals have a written plan.
CLEAR – One area that I would like to focus on this year is to make sure things make more sense and that my audience understands what I really aim for and what I really want to offer to them. I need to have a clearer call to action on my website, especially on my homepage.
TEST – Here’s where I take action and test whatever I’ve written on my plan. Here’s where I’ll check whether what I’m doing pays off and see which I should prioritize more as I go along my way. There you have it. I’ll be applying these 3 words this year and make sure my goals matched up with it.
What about you? What are your three words for 2012?
