Recently, Facebook quietly hid the “Poke” button behind a pull-down settings menu on the right-hand side.
Did you notice it? I guess not. – Coz, You won’t even notice it if you don’t observe at all. You need to click the menu button with a gear icon first for it to show up.
When did this happen?
I’m not pretty sure when this change first occurred. I guess it happened a couple of weeks ago when they launched the “subscribe” button. Facebook has rolled out a lot of new features for the past couple of weeks. Not to mention Facebook’s huge redesign (Facebook Timeline) which kept the “Poke” button behind this same drop down menu.
I’m not actually a big fan of this “Poke” feature. To be honest, I don’t even know exactly what “poking” someone on Facebook is supposed to mean. Some people consider it annoying, others consider it as a form of flirting, and others just use it as friendly gesture meant to let them know you are thinking of them.
Either way, when did you last “poke” someone on Facebook?
